Ohhh a Majestic.
We had two of those on our veranda in N'Djamena. They were installed in late 2001.
They were 52'', polished brass, GE vent with filigree sideband, 4 oak & cane blades, 4 tulip lights, 5-speed wall controlled with cylinder canopy.

That's a Taifuex WY52-5C5N repacked under that Majestic brand. Those are the famous "instructions" included with all mine. My fans came in plain White boxes with hand-written model numbers. When I bought them back in 2004, the seller had a lot of different combinations and styles with 4, 5 and 6-blades, I was going to get one of these 5-bladers too, but I wanted to see the quality of the first batch. You'll notice the finish will tarnish pretty fast taking a dark tone with "odd spots" appearing everywhere. The motor is seriously underpowered at 153 X 10mm. for a 52-inch the pitch is 10° that's the worst combination ever! The aluminum use is very cheap and lightweight., the blades are small-size made of the cheapest MDF with plastic cane found in the industry. The mesh on the air vents is some light cotton fabric which will tear easily. I have 5-Taifuex in total. 3 out of the 5 are small size fans. I replaced their motors with slightly bigger ones (153 X18mm) and a bigger blade pitch (22° for the 27-inch, 18° for the 35-inch and 16° for the 43-inch) One thing you'll notice is, all Taifuex fans use small 42-inch side blade arms either remelted die-cast or stamped steel. Only a few models have (per customer request) slightly bigger blade arms. These are some of the choices Taifuex offers of that WY52 fan. With stamped steel blade arms and a Schoolhouse. Different Glass and Blade size options. 52-inch with "Lakeside" blade arms. 42-inch 4-blades with 52-inch Housing Version. 42-inch 5-blades with 52-inch Housing Version.

Wow, awesome fan, Tais! I wish they still made things that look like this in the USA.

If you notice, the light kit is integrated to a switch cap.

mounted the fan on the test hook.... it was much harder than i thought, i am very used to holding the motor while screwing the blades and it was my first time experiencing with brackets i know the red/blue wire is L and black/ brown wire is N, but in the circuit diagram i see that black wire is L (for fan) and white wire is N, is this right or did i understand wrong?? one of the brackets had a higher angle than the other 4, the screws are so annoyingly stiff, that's really a problem when attaching blades to the motor other than that, this is one of my childhood fan shapes i used to enjoy watching when i used to go on a vacation some more pics after mounting it

Oh yeah it was your first time screwing from the bottom. That's the very practical thing with top mount spinners, you screws from the top so there not that fear that the screw would always fall back down. When you put the blades to the brackets I hope you put them together before putting them on the motor. On a stationary housing fan you can screw the blades to the brackets if the brackets are already on the motor. UNLESS the blades arms are particularly long and the housing small in diameter which is not the case of that one and most stationary housing fans are not like that. They ones we had on our veranda in N'Djamena were pretty different. The housing, canopy, mounting and blades are the same but they had 4 blades instead of 5, were wall controlled, no pull chains, 4 armless tulip lights and of course hard brackets. They were polished brass too though. That one you bought is definitely a Taifuex relabeled cause a 5 bladed one like that does not show on Majestic site. I see a sticker on the top that says Super Majestic, what the other sticker says? You should try it in your other room with the white dropped ceiling. Since it does not seem to come with an extra switch cap for without light installation, try it with the light kit. It's better than a switch housing missing the switch cap and wires inside showing. Safer too. Did it came with the decorative pull chain extenders? If yes put them it will look better. The motor inside the housing look soo small for a 52incher. That look like the motor size of the one in my 2007 Craftmade Decorative 42'' and 1986 4 Seasons 42''.

The 4th pic is very ressemble to the ones we had on our veranda in N'Djamena. The control was not like that though. It was the original Majestic 5-speed controller with the on/off button on the control for the lights and of course they were J hook mounted with small cylinder canopy like Tais's. Other than the canopy and wall control it was just like on that pic. I hate it when they put stamped steel brackets on those! The 3 last fans are yours Perrey?

This is the controller you are talking about. No., They are courtesy of Taifuex. I wanted to import these fans and they sent me a few pics a while back of a few combinations they can offer for my consideration. Check out the motor inside The one at the left is 153 X 8mm and the other a 153 X 13mm for their industrial fans.

I don't know what you mean by "L" and "N". I'm not familiar with the electrical codes of the UAE but this is how you would wire it. White Neutral from fan with White from the Electrical box. Black Hot from fan to Black from the Electrical Box. Blue is for the Light Kit. It goes together with Black from fan and Black from the Electrical Box.

White Neutral from fan with White from the Electrical box. Black Hot from fan to Black from the Electrical Box. Blue is for the Light Kit. It goes together with Black from fan and Black from the Electrical Box. i mean the L with the positive or the "hot", and the N with neutral.. after reading the manual again and your post, and looking at the fan's circuit, i understand now, the white is the neutral When you put the blades to the brackets I hope you put them together before putting them on the motor. On a stationary housing fan you can screw the blades to the brackets if the brackets are already on the motor. UNLESS the blades arms are particularly long and the housing small in diameter which is not the case of that one and most stationary housing fans are not like that. that makes sense... i was putting the blades after installing the brackets... "caution: do not install less than 2.3M between floor and trailing edge of blade" i'll do it on a friday.. probably not this week yes, but not long enough, i'll put them once i install the fan i hope it performs properly with that motor
