Last weekend, I did some antique shopping and picked up this Howard Industries antique mini fan! Model number is 1175-08-4181 It is really quite neat and I've never seen anything like it. Great air movement for such a small fan. It is from September 1970. Pictures : [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] [a href=" "] [/a] And of course, here is the video ;D : [a href=" "][/a][/url] Enjoy, everyone! I now have 3 antique portable fans!

Never seen anything like that either, it almost looks homemade. Something different is always good to look into.

I like it too. Might make a nice addition to a college dorm in the warm Midwest autumns..for a while anyways. I can always make a homemade one too LOL.

Humm no I have never seen anything like it either? The head of the fan look like those fans you see at the front of school buses but the blades seems plastic. School bus fans have metal blades and makes a loud annoying zing zing sound.
Its 6''?

It does almost make that noise that school bus fans make, but fortunately the blades are plastic and the sound is more of a quiet whirring.

to me, it looks like somebody took a evap fan out of a refrigerator, and freezer and put it on a stand, and put a grill around the blades
