 my weird spotting at goodwill
« Thread Started on Mar 16, 2010, 7:43pm »

it is not a ceiling fan , it is part of one, i looked for the rest of the fan and could not find it

it was a light blue switch housing for a ceiling fan, there was a light kit attached to it, and there was 2 chains, one said reverse on top of the pull chain, does anybody know what fan it came from

These threads are worthless without pictures.

Get a camera, take it EVERYWHERE.

Derek Anthony is THE EXPERT when it comes to make multiple threads useless with no pics justifying it with that pathetic excuse of "Cannot take Pics on Hospitals" or This new one. As always, too much talk and no pics.... unless I start posting my fan pics and he'll suddenly have a camera and start posting some pics, Right D.A.

Derek's point is valid, at the place I work at they do not allow cameras into the offices. Our company's policy is that you can get fired for bringing a camera on site. I leave my cel phone locked in my van since it has a camera on it.

I believe Derek has worked on government property, they are really finicky about cameras since they'd likely think he's a terrorist scoping out the facility.

Even if they had the most awesome fans in the world at my job or at a government facility, I wouldn't risk my job or my freedom for a bunch of losers who want pictures.

as said in the tread below your post, i work in a vetrans administration hospital, and my boss there is really nice, and he said no pics due to terrorism, plus the area i work in the hospital is highly secured area, plus at the goodwill, the employees are extremely cranky, and the managers are very rude, so most likely i would have gotten yelled at for taking pics, plus i can not really afford a take a long camera, plus the only camera i have is a cruddy webcam,
and there is no reason to be rude either

I'm not being rude. I'm just stating the obvious.

I sense a war coming up.

And let's not get it that far shall we? If you can't post pictures for valid reasons, fine. Then don't. I'm sure one day when you are capable of owning a decent camera you'll take pictures with it. Where you'll find fans, well that's up to you. In the meantime, let's keep this forum peaceful, shall we?
